Northern Ontario Travel

The NorthernOntario.Travel website is a partnership between Destination Ontario, Destination Northern Ontario as well as thirteen sector organizations, including all of the major cities, regions, verticals (outdoors, touring and angling), Francophone, and Indigenous tourism.

The New Business manages this entire project. From building and maintaining the website, to developing the content strategy, editing every piece of content, optimizing for search and social, managing paid ad campaigns, and reporting results to all key stakeholders—we literally do it all. Over the past decade the site has welcomed over 13 million visitors from all corners of the world.


Ontario Trip Explorer

The Ontario Trip Explorer is a one-of-a-kind, curated, digital travel itinerary experience custom-built by The New Business. Powered by a database developed in close collaboration with Destination Northern Ontario, content teams use this engine to build compelling, demographic targeted itineraries and distribute them everywhere on the web.


Cultural Industries Ontario North (CION)

CION’s ambitious mandate to support film, tv, and music everywhere across a region as vast as Northern Ontario required a digital strategy, brand, content campaign, and website to match. A completely custom-built crew database connects Northern staff and world-wide producers, while a unique musician database and message forum gives Northern Music a massive increase in visibility.


Cinefest Sudbury

What do you do when you’re one of the most successful film festivals in Canada and a global pandemic shuts you down? You go online—we are very proud to have been part of the effort to strategize, design, brand, and launch Cinéfest’s first-ever virtual film festival.


Sunset Country

Sunset Country is one of the most consistently high-performing destination marketing organizations in Ontario. Their cleverly organized and supremely useful website is really only a small piece of their digital strategy: in the backend we built sophisticated tools to help both Sunset Country and their members do better marketing in a totally unique way that generates hundred of leads a day.


Aventure Nord

Led by five Francophone communities in the North, Aventure Nord is an adventure touring trail system for off-road motorcycles, boondocking snowmobilers and die-hard ATVers looking for long-distance backcountry adventures. From the initial product vision, through the product development process, to a comprehensive marketing strategy with a web presence, influencer program and social media campaign, we’ve created an enduring tourism product for Northern Ontario.
